Historian Rutger Bregman visited Davos and didn't hold back on his thoughts about the super rich. He called out ‘stupid philanthropy schemes’

Bregman said that the actual issue that requires tackling to create a fairer playing field is tax avoidance.

He said: ‘We can invite Bono once again but come on we’ve got to be talking about taxes … all the rest is bullshit in my opinion,’ he says.

Bregaman said he seems like he's 'at a firefighters conference with no one's permitted to speak about water'

“I hear people talking the word what of participation, justice, equality and transparency but very little one raises the real issue of tax avoidance, right? And of the rich just not paying their fair share.”
