This week, the best Minister will set the steps the government will take to gain levels and unite the UK, with plans for that regeneration from the great British high street.

Forming a vital part of the Prime Minister’s speech, a brand new High Streets Technique is expected to revolutionise local communities and support them to thrive.

Al fresco dining will become the norm, with pavement licences to be extended and then made permanent, making it easier and cheaper for pubs, restaurants and cafes to set up tables outside and serve more customers. Furthermore, takeaway pints will continue for an additional Twelve months as the temporary permissions for off-sales of alcohol are extended. The government hopes that this can give an additional boost towards the hospitality industry as local residents have a great British summer together outdoors.

As well as a boost for the high street, Boris Johnson will discuss: developing a more balanced economy with great jobs in every area of the UK; levelling up between generations; increasing access to opportunity no matter where you reside; and strengthening community and local leadership.

The speech will start a summer of engagement seeking views and input ahead of publication of the White Paper in the Autumn.

A Government spokesperson said: “The best Minister is determined to gain levels the united kingdom and deliver a fairer, stronger society – one where whatever your background wherever you live, everyone is able to access the opportunities they have to succeed.

“While talent and potential is distributed evenly across this country, opportunity is not. That’s why once we leave the pandemic, it’s vital that we do not result in the mistakes of recovery from the financial crash and seize this moment to make sure a much better standard of living for people in every area of the UK.”
