Forced Closure Covid Grant – November 2021
FINANCIAL SUPPORT FOR BUSINESSES REQUIRED TO CLOSE BY GOVERNMENT OR SEVERELY Influenced by LOCAL RESTRICTIONS
Following recent announcements by the Pm and the Chancellor in response to the COVID – 19 virus pandemic the government provides further grant support to ratepayers who have responsibility for business rates at certain eligible hereditaments.
The National Restrictions Support Grant applies from 5 November 2021 to 2 December 2021.
This support targets businesses within the retail, hospitality and leisure sectors that have been mandated to shut by Central Government.
Businesses that get certified in these sectors is going to be eligible for the following grant for that 4-week period:
- Rateable Value up to lb15,000: lb1,334
- Rateable Value from lb15,001 to lb50,999: lb2,000
- Rateable Value from lb51,000 and above: lb3,000
